For more than 25 years I have been a teacher and a mentor to music students, varying in age from 7 to 67, who came to me to learn to play the violin, the piano or the guitar. My philosophy was always to create an enjoyable atmosphere for them while using the pedagogy tools I had learned in college to enable them to play with accuracy and beauty. As the pandemic hit in 2020 everything went online and a general sense of dipping in mood was obvious. Also, all my performing gigs got cancelled.

​

That’s when I came across a certification program offered by Marci Shimoff based off of her New York Times bestselling book "Happy for No Reason."

​

As I have studied the material and applied new habits I noticed improved sleep, inner calm under turbulent circumstances, closer relationships with my family and friends, awareness of the abundance surrounding me and more.

​

In my Happiness Workshops I provide you with tools and share mind set practices that peel away layers of stress and worry. With that we can discover inner peace that is always there just waiting for us to be experienced and I'm hoping to share these wisdoms with former and future students age 14 to 24.

I have lived in Colorado since 1997 when my husband Peter, two young daughters and I took the opportunity to move to Denver from Switzerland. I always had a love for traveling, exploring different ways of living in various countries, learning new languages and cultural traditions.

​

Experiences are more important to me than material possessions. I’m coming to understand that renting and sharing is often more satisfying than owning.
