Living from love rather than for love!

To be able to live from love we need to be filled with love within.

One of the ways to connect and open ourselves to love, insight, inspiration and guidance is by going on Artist Dates! What is an Artist Date?

It is one of the basic tools that Julia Cameron introduces in her book The Artist's Way: "the Artist Date is an excursion, a play date that you preplan and defend against all interlopers." You don't take your best friend. You don't take your spouse or your kid or even your pet. You don't have a conversation with anyone.

Depending on your schedule, you plan two hours or half a day each week to go out exclusively with yourself. A museum visit. A craft session. A quiet time at the local library. Just you, yourself and your journal to share with what comes up.

After an Artist Date I feel full of inner peace. I know deep down we are made by Love, we are made of Love, and we are made for Love. I'm happy to share my love. And that's in contrast of feeling depleted and looking for love outside of me.

The Yin and Yang symbol stands for this inner wholeness: be a whole person, find your love within and you will attract love without - it is universal law.
